David Chu is a freelance book editor in Menlo Park. His anthology Frozen Music: A Literary Exploration of California Architecture celebrates the diversity of California architecture. The collection presents varied examples of writing about the state's structures and spaces to highlight the competing roles that the built environment has played for divergent individuals and communities.
Presented by AIA SF and William Stout Architectural Books, Summer Book Club Lecture + Signing series is a book club without the homework! Featuring five local authors, the series showcases books that will enrich our understanding of our daily surroundings. Readings will take place from July 6 - 27 on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7pm, see our Events Calendar for listings of other authors. No reading required, all you have to do is show up!
