ImagineConey is an initiative of the Municipal Art Society of New York (MAS) to create new ideas for the future of Coney Island to restore the area to its former position as a great entertainment and amusement area-the "world's playground." After consulting with world-class architects, engineers, amusements designers and creative producers, MAS needs your ideas for its future. Please send, in words or graphics, your ideas for the future of Coney Island, including ideas for Events and Activities, New Amusement rides, Design Ideas, Housing and Retail-Related Ideas, as well as thoughts, memories or photos that may spur others to generate ideas. The ideas will be displayed online at imageconey.com, and at an exhibit that will open at MAS in January 2009.
