Building Energy Exchange launches BE-Ex Ed: virtual classroom for climate-conscious building professionals

In support of New York’s ambitious climate policies, nonprofit Building Energy Exchange (BE-Ex) has expanded into the digital realm—bringing its highly regarded educational resources to the homes of building industry professionals across New York and beyond, via BE-Ex Ed, its on-demand e-learning platform.

Since 2010, BE-Ex has been accelerating the transition to healthy, comfortable, and low-energy use buildings. As buildings take an increasingly central role in New York’s climate action plan, with groundbreaking new emissions limits for New York City buildings and statewide carbon reduction commitments, education on these topics has never been more vital.

BE-Ex Ed offers virtual classes on high-performance building strategies that lower energy use, increase occupant comfort, maximize profitability, and meet the demands of New York’s ambitious climate action agenda. With courses ranging from 30 to 90 minutes, BE-Ex Ed offers digestible content for learners of all types, from those new to the world of high-performance buildings, to seasoned industry professionals looking to deepen their knowledge and earn continuing education credits.

To celebrate its launch, BE-Ex is offering all of its AIA-accredited courses for free during the month of December.
