October/November 2022: Landscape
AN is excited to share the digital version of our October/November 2022 issue with you. The issue’s Landscape special section includes an introductory editorial by landscape architect Thomas Woltz of Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects. It also includes case studies of landscape projects in San Francisco and New York, in addition to a review of Kevin Loughran’s Parks for Profit and a photo project by Leonid Furmansky. Products include the latest in furnishings, lighting, performance textiles, and pavers. The issue’s features focus on equity in the American landscape: Terremoto offers lessons from its Land and Labor working group; Adam Paul Susaneck, through his Segregation by Design project, researches highway expansion in Miami; and Iwan Baan shares images of Rome and Las Vegas to mark the 50th anniversary of the landmark book Learning from Las Vegas.
