In celebration of the city’s 2015 AIA|LA Design Award recipients and Presidential Honorees, the AIA|LA invites you to join the Los Angeles architectural community at an awards ceremony and après-event party. The Architect’s Newspaper West Coast Editor Mimi Zeiger will be on hand to present Next LA Winners.
As is tradition, the festivities begin with a reception that rejoins old friends and serves as an icebreaker — introducing new ones. A ceremony to announce the 2015 AIA|LA Design Award recipients (for built projects) and recipients of Next LA award (work not yet built) follows. Presidential Honorees, as awarded by AIA|LA President of the Board of Directors, Ted Hyman, FAIA, and the AIA|LA Board of Directors, are celebrated.
Après-ceremony, the festivities continue with a dinner + a party + assorted revelry. Expect an open bar and divine edibles. Reception begins at 6PM, Ceremony at 7PM, Party, to follow.
The theme for this year’s party and Presidential Honoree awards is “Retro/Future”: Architects, built environment leaders, and cultural figures who remake the city’s possibilities by reconsidering existing landscape and ideas.
