2016 MNPG Arch Competition

The 2014 Competition was for the design of a modern abode hub, with entrants from around the world and really solid award winners. This year’s idea challenge is asking architects to build a tech port beacon in the Sapphire Coast, Australia. The 2016 MNPG Arch Competition meshes architecture, technology, ecology and modern living.

There are a lot of places that work within the technology space, but many do not have a building that is in an icon for the community. This is where a tech port beacon can serve a great need. To be a source of light and modern ingenuity for a coastal area and bring in a new wave of knowledge and innovation. This structure would be the foundation of the exponential growth that has the tremendous potential to transform the surrounds and the participants that contribute to the flow of movement. The Sapphire Coast in Australia is a fantastic application for such a building- an architecture that will be well represented in the region and world.
