26th International Sculpture Conference: Sculpture in Context: Tradition and Innovation

The International Sculpture Center will Travel to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania this October 15-18, 2016 for the 26th International Sculpture Conference. Inspired by industry and innovation in Pittsburgh the 26th International Sculpture Conference will explore how contemporary sculpture can effect cultural reinvention. The conference will bring together artists, arts administrators, curators, patrons, students, and sculpture enthusiasts for new discoveries in the field of sculpture.

The four day conference will include 11 panel discussions, keynote speaker Diana Al-Hadid, mentor sessions, ARTSlams, evening receptions at the Mattress Factory and Carrie Furnaces, a city-wide gallery hop, hands-on workshops at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, and the Pittsburgh Glass Center, the annual ISC littleSCULPTURE Show, public art tours, and many optional trips to local arts and culture hubs.
