San Francisco has a rich history of bygone amusement parks and BAYA (Bay Area Young Architects) is taking a bike ride around the city to rediscover their sites, ruins, and contemporary incarnations. From camel rides and saltwater pools to roller coasters and mechanical arcade games, there’s a lot that will surprise you. Lead by Brandon Baunach, former tour leader for the SFBC (San Francisco Bike Coalition), we will share the stories and visuals of how San Franciscans from 1866 to 1972 played right in their own backyard.
