Calling all students and young architects—ARCHmedium’s latest international competition, the New York Vertical City Competition, wants your proposals for a new mixed-use tower in New York City. The building design should function as a “small vertical city” consisting of offices, temporary housing, cultural and leisure spaces. The competition is open to architecture students and young architects from around the world. A total prize pool of 3,500€ will be distributed to the top three winners and their winning submissions will be considered for publication in Architecture Magazine. Regular registration ends April 29, 2018 and the deadline for submissions is May 13, 2018.
