Funds raised from the gala will, in part, assist BAP to continue providing talented students of African and Latino descent with stipends, academic scholarships, and summer pre-college program scholarships for those in high school. As a special programming note, the evening will also salute Dr. Thomas F. Schutte for his nearly 25 years of service as he steps down as Pratt Institute’s 11th president this year.
