Dedicated to raising awareness of immigrant contributions to American society, the Vilcek Foundation is pleased to announce the call for applications for our 2018 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Architecture.

Immigrant professionals working in fields related to the built environment—including architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, architectural engineering, and architecture criticism—are invited to apply. Three winners will be selected to receive a $50,000 unrestricted cash prize.

Eligible candidates will have been born outside of the United States, be no older than 38 years old or younger, and hold a professional degree in architecture or in a field related to the built environment (license not required). Applications will be accepted until May 31, 2017.
