Digital Art in Architecture

DeafSpace is a design strategy that meets the unique spatial and visual needs of deaf people. Hansel Bauman, co-founder of Gallaudet University’s DeafSpace Project, and executive director of Campus Design and Planning, leads a walking tour of the campus to demonstrate how a world built for hearing people poses challenges for deaf people. He also highlights the University’s many building and campus enhancements that address the principles of DeafSpace.
