Landscape architects Susan Cohen and Sheila Brady discuss how they generate ideas and tap into their own creativity to find solutions that meet the needs of each site as part of The New York Botanical Garden’s annual Landscape Design Student and Alumni Series. They’ll examine the creative process behind several projects by international designers and then focus specifically on Brady’s innovative designs for NYBG’s acclaimed Native Plant Garden. Sheila Brady is principal of the award-winning landscape architecture firm Oehme, Van Sweden. Susan Cohen, FASLA, is NYBG’s Landscape Design Program Coordinator who recently authored The Inspired Landscape: 21 Leading Landscape Architects Explore the Creative Process.
