Tribeca South is where eight buildings will be demolished, all victim of Cape Advisors (a developer) and their lobbyist – the same firm representing our Mayor in the current inquiries into campaign financing.

After we gather at Murray and Greenwich, at 5:30 we will begin walking down Murray to Church Street and back down Warren, stopping at each building that will be demolished. We will end in front of the old Mariachi’s Restaurant (63 West Broadway) where candy and eulogies will be dispensed. The event ends at 6:30.

It’s traditional to bring an umbrella to a jazz funeral. For more information visit www.tribecatrust.org, email volunteer@tribecatrust.org or call 212-732-1025
We need volunteers for a sign-making workshop to prepare for the Jazz Funeral and Parade. The prep workshop will be held this coming Sunday, May 1 from 3-5 p.m. If interested, RSVP at the email address above to confirm the Tribeca location of the workshop.
