Pop-up Materials: from Why to How will feature exhibitions, panel discussions, presentations, and guided networking, followed by a happy hour for refreshments and socializing. Topics include the power of collaboration to scale individual work, the evolution of mindful MATERIALS as a movement and an organization, and creating opportunities for connections between attendees — and helping everyone link the “why” of materials to the “how.”

Founded in 2014 as a library tool that makes transparency and optimization information easily accessible for designers and architects as they select products, mM is now evolving to become a central materials hub and community that aligns the industry for maximum impact.
Our goal at mM is to connect ideas; to connect mindful materials with mindful practitioners; and connect the dots between intent and action when it comes to materials. We’re bringing our regional mM pop-up mMATERIALS show on the road this year. Dyer Brown Architects in Boston is the third stop on our tour and we’re diving into the how of material transformation.
