A Practical, Non-Textbook Guide to Contractual Negotiations

December 16, 2015 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am EST

When: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16

Where: At The Center

Written agreements on a construction project, whether an AIA form document or otherwise, are critical and a good, productive relationship with the owner during the negotiation of the agreement is essential to a project’s success. The content of the agreement and the negotiation process provides an opportunity for design professionals to set the relationship with the owner on a firm and a productive course. Design professionals can take advantage of this opportunity, but only if they have a full appreciation of what is critical for the agreement.

This program is part of a series of conversations related to Un/Fair Usean exhibition of research and proposals related to copying and copyright in architecture.

Speakers:
Robert A. Banner, Partner, Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll & Bertolotti, LLP.
Melissa Billig, Partner, Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll & Bertolotti, LLP.
Jessica L. Rothman, Partner, Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll & Bertolotti, LLP
