If you feel passionate about artificial intelligence and the new technologies that are revolutionizing traditional manufacturing, we have great news for you: The prestigious Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) is coming to Lima, Peru, as the Architectural Association Visiting School Lima-AAVSLIM, and is offering a workshop on robotic manufacturing for architecture.
From the 8th to the 17th of August, during 10 intensive sessions, professionals and students of Architecture, Engineering, and Design from around the world will learn how to digitally design and manufacture through the use of a robotic arm; thus allowing them to imagine and explore new architectural designs thanks to new technologies.
International experts from Spain and Australia will add to the transformative experience by using new techniques and clay to print with the robotic arm. Investigation, design, technology and robotic manufacturing will take place during this experiential workshop at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
The Architectural Asociation School of Architecture (AA) is an independent school located in London and teaches contemporary architecture, focusing on the highest standards for young architectural professionals. Its courses and activities have contributed to improving a higher understanding, practice, and knowledge of modern architecture.
The prior Architectural Association “Visiting School” that took place in Peru held experiments that searched for an adaptable transportation machine and aggregated students and professionals from the US, UK, Taiwan and China and Peru.
