Join the Opening Night Reception at Pier 27, followed by a day of programming, and week of exhibits, talks and workshops across the region. Opening night reception: experience a designer’s life through interactive exhibits and installations, as well as a musical performance by the extraordinary virtuoso Butterscotch, who became the world’s first female beatbox champion. Opening night highlights include a virtual reality exhibit by LOCZIdesign and Heavy Projects; a custom installation by Airbnb; and “Designing Rituals” workshop by IDEO U. “Off the Grid” food & drinks for purchase.
