SEATTLE DESIGN FESTIVAL 2016: BLOCK PARTY

The Block Party is a two-day street fair, September 10-11, 10am – 5pm, each day in Occidental Park, celebrating the powerful ways design affects our lives, and kicking off the 6th annual Seattle Design Festival, which runs September 10-23.

The Block Party is an opportunity for the design community and the public to come together and interact through large-scale design installations, performances, and design activities all centered around the Festival’s 2016 theme, Design Change. The installations are designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages, sizes, and abilities. Families are welcome and encouraged. Free and open to the public. Presented by Design in Public, a strategic initiative of AIA Seattle, in collaboration with dozens of community organizations.
