Please join City College of Chicago, CannonDesign, and Moody Nolan for a tour of the new School of Health Sciences building at Malcolm X College. As part of City College’s reinvention, this new 545,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility provides learning and support spaces for the community college. The School of Health Sciences focuses on educating allied health professionals and was designed to emphasize hands-on training.
Academic classrooms and teaching laboratories as well as recreation facilities, a conference center, and other support spaces are organized around a student union, library, and roof garden. The facility is crowned by an eight-story tower which represents a “virtual hospital” and allows students to learn through simulated, real-world healthcare scenarios.
Meet inside the main entrance on Jackson Boulevard (between Damen Avenue and Wood Street).
