“Green Infrastructure in New Orleans: Implementation of Article 23”

The City of New Orleans adopted new green stormwater regulations in May of 2015 requiring private developments to manage the first 1.25″ of water from rain events on site.  This presentation will provide an overview of the implementation process to date, covering the process to submit an application for stormwater management plan review, insight into development of new regulations that mandate green building practices, and successful applications for stormwater management. The discussion will feature Tyler Antrup of the New Orleans City Planning Commission.
