We are seeking a talented and seasoned project architect with a minimum of 10 years experience for a boathouse project currently entering the Construction Document Phase. As project architect, you will oversee the project through the CD and construction phases. Responsibilities will include oversight over the construction set and all agency and regulatory filing sets, management of project consultants, development of creative design and technical solutions, and oversight and mentorship of junior staff. You will work closely with the firm’s principals, and be instrumental in defining and implementing office standards and protocols within the context of the project.
Applicant must have a proven track record of directing projects from conceptual design through construction administration, and be skilled at technical detailing and the production of construction documents. Applicants should have a depth of experience with building department and agency approvals processes, and be well versed in NYC building code. Experience with Revit is a strong advantage.
