Feb/Mar 2021: Healthcare

The February/March issue includes our first special section devoted to the design of healthcare spaces. In it, we profile projects by WRNS Studio, Duda Paine Architects, GBBN, and more that are raising standards in the field by incorporating natural materials and biophilic principles to help patients recover and caregivers work. The topic obviously has had an urgency over the past year that it has rarely had before.

Feature stories in the issue profile the Architectural League of New York’s 2021 Emerging Voices winners, which include exciting practices from across the country, and explore the Museum of Modern Art’s highly anticipated Reconstructions: Architecture and Blackness in America show.
