From October 10-11, the world’s most innovative urban regeneration leaders will convene in Atlanta, GA to examine and rethink some of the biggest challenges facing communities today at the 2017 EcoDistricts Summit. Through an experiential program designed to inspire, inform and activate, the eighth annual Summit seeks to drive sustainable impact in cities worldwide. Join us for place- and topic-based labs, keynotes, inspirational TED-style speakers, breakthrough sessions, a Block Party and networking events to discover how cities worldwide are leveraging the power of the neighborhood scale to build vibrancy, scale success, and set the path for the sustainable cities of tomorrow.
Summit attendees will speak candidly about the most pressing issues affecting cities and explore how we can come together to “reimagine and redesign” solutions with intentionality and purpose using the EcoDistricts approach as our guide.
This year’s line-up of speakers will feature leaders in equitable, sustainable, and inclusive development and planning in Atlanta, including Nathaniel Smith, Founder and Chief Equity Officer of the Partnership for Southern Equity, and Tim Keane, Commissioner of Planning and Community Development for the City of Atlanta.
