The Louisiana Architectural Foundation is pleased to announce that the Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) will be coming to New Orleans, for the first time, from August 11th to August 13th. The Architecture & Design Film Festival is based in New York City.
Now in its 8th year, ADFF is the largest film festival dedicated to the creative spirit of Architecture & Design. This festival gives people in our region a great opportunity for exposure and participation in the world of architecture and design through film. LAF seeks to bring together the general public with our arts, architecture and cultural partners in this celebration of architecture through a weekend of films.
The festival is programmed to be interesting to both the design professional and the design curious. Films range from preservation issues, modern architecture, youth participation, women’s roles, gentrification and more. Around 20 films will be screened, including a combination of feature-length and short films. Our exciting lineup of films will be announced in July, tickets on sales starting July 21st. In addition to the film lineup, we will provide further opportunities to the general public through post-screening Q&A’s, panel discussions, book talks and signings, and of course, great parties!
