Mosques are places of worship for Muslims around the world. Their interiors often feature beautiful domes and intricate patterned designs inspired by repeating geometric shapes. Join us to learn more about the features of Islamic architecture and designs that migrated from the mosque, even into skyscrapers! This year, in celebration of Black History Month, we’ll take a closer look at mosques from the North African region. Then we’ll design our own patterned tiles! Recommended for ages 5+. RSVP Required.
