HOUSING & NEIGHBO(U)RHOODS – a roundtable conversation about a tale of two cities:  Los Angeles & Chengdu, China

Please join us for an architectural peer conversation tracing and reflecting the experiences across two cities on housing and neighbourhood architecture. What are the political, economical, environmental and social drivers underpinning new architecture? What is truly ‘new’ about it?  And what are the lessons learned along the way? As a roundtable, we will discuss: Public housing, Private Housing and Neighborhoods,  a human experience of space,  our cities need for housing and most of all, a conversation about design excellence in architecture.
