The Intersection of Sustainability and Design | A Material Blank Event

April 19 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am EDT

The in-person panel will talk about the successes and challenges faced when integrating climate considerations into construction projects of all sizes. This event starts with a presentation on the basics of embodied carbon and interiors, then will move into a moderated discussion with a stellar panel of experts from top firms in the city who play various roles on project teams, all navigating through the intersection of sustainability and design.

This Material Bank program supports firms on their sustainable design journey. Material Bank has gathered design professionals from local firms for a presentation and panel discussion that will help you become an embodied carbon change maker!

This session will raise awareness to the incredible impact of reducing a building’s carbon footprint with responsible interior material selections and help guide future actions with more thoughtful consideration of the impact of embodied carbon within our interior spaces.

The Intersection of Sustainability & Design is a special event organized and presented by Material Bank for Kansas City Design Week!

This is a free event that requires prior registration
